About this painting:
This is one of my favourite paintings out of the hundreds of pieces I’ve made in 30 years. It started as a mountain and then turned into a wave with a soup full of symbols and iconography around the concept of humans mimicking animals in the creation of boats. Airplanes warships buildings and helicopters the circus banner of animal forms at the top is planted on top of the mountain wave with the CN tower being enveloped by the water. Part stream of consciousness/part thesis This is one of my masterpieces that appeared in front of me. Without any planning or forethought.
